The Elachee Nature Science Center and the Smithgall Arts Center jointly present the Works of James R. Darnell.

Inspired By Nature is a collection of works presented to the Elachee Nature Science Center through the generosity of Susan Lindsley. The collection was given in “friendship and admiration of his work.” Visit both locations to view the full collection of work. The exhibit is free and open to the public.

During the Inspired by Nature, The Works of James R. Darnell exhibit at the Smithgall Arts Center and Elachee Nature Science Center, The Smithgall Arts Center will be presenting a program for Art Collectors and Investors. The purpose of this program is to inform current and prospective collectors of the proper means of care for their collections – from the moment they acquire work to a point during which they may decide to leave the work in their estate, donate or sell the work.
