GRAINS OF SAND

For those of you who attended The Arts Council’s Black and White Ball, as well as many patrons who missed the ball…your request has been granted. We are bringing back Grains of Sand for your listening and dancing pleasure. Former members of The Jesters and other stellar Northeast Georgia musical groups, Grains of Sand rely on live instrumentation, harmonies, undulating rhythms and distinctive vocals for a rich, straightforward soul, beach and Motown musical extravaganza. This 8-piece band rides the groove of the 60s and 70s with nimbleness and a bright expressiveness that will shine throughout the evening.

“Folks, the Grains of Sand put on one of the BEST show's I have seen in a long, long time. I have seen many bands perform over the span of some 40+ years, I rank the Grains of Sand up there with the best I have ever seen.”

- Mike Griffin - Georgia Peach Festival 2014
