Change of Venue due to Weather
The Arts Council’s presentation this evening (Friday, June 7th) of the FABULOUS EQUINOX ORCHESTRA has MOVED INDOORS, due to the threat of inclement weather. The performance will be held at the FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH’S BANQUET HALL (address: 751 Green Street, Gainesville, GA 30501). The show will start as scheduled at 8pm.

The Arts Council’s presentation of the FABULOUS EQUINOX ORCHESTRA, Friday, June 7th has MOVED INDOORS, due to the threat of inclement weather, to FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH’S BANQUET HALL (address: 751 Green Street, Gainesville, GA 30501). The performance will start as scheduled at 8pm. Doors to the auditorium will open at 7:30 for general seating.
IF you have already reserved a table for this performance and had planned to enjoy your guests/dinner at our venue, we will have a table set-up for you inside the banquet Hall, at First Baptist Church. Please call our office (770-534-2787) to confirm your dining table at The Arts Council. Since indoor space is limited, this offer is on a first come first serve basis. You are welcome to bring your beverages of choice and food to our venue and enjoy them in the comfort of some air-conditioning. There will be NO food available for purchase. Your table will be available from 6PM to 7:30PM after which guests must make their way to the auditorium for the show to start on time. Once at the theater (at 7:30pm) you will be guided to your reserved seats by Arts Council volunteers/staff.
IF you have not reserved a table but have purchased individual tickets, unfortunately our indoor space at The Arts Council Smithgall Arts Center will not be able to accommodate you for indoor dining, due to the number of reserved tables and space limitations within the building. You will not need the use of lawn chairs as this is a traditional theater with seats.
No alcohol will be permitted on the church property
Additional tickets for this performance will be available at the door. Our box-office/will call, at Pearce Auditorium, will open at 7PM or you can call 770-534-2787 until 5PM.
Parking is available on and around the campus of Brenau University. We sincerely thank you for understanding and accommodating this change in venue.
This decision was made after much deliberation with Band Members and advice from local and national weather stations. While it was our desire to hold this concert outdoors, the safety of our performers and patrons is tantamount.
