Evenings of Intimate Jazz Series™

We’re Rescheduling

The staff and board of The Arts Council recognize the importance of social distancing and slowing down the COVID-19 pandemic for the health and safety of our community. The Arts Council is not isolated or immune from the hard choices that all of us must make for ourselves, our families and our businesses. We also recognize the ability of music and the arts to bind together our community during difficult times. We have taken steps to balance these truths as we consider our short-term future programming in making the following adjustments:

Our Evenings of Intimate Jazz event with Ari and the Alibis has been rescheduled for Friday, October 2, and Saturday, October 3, at 8PM. Jazz artists Alexis Cole and Diego Figueiredo have been postponed until the 2021 season.

Over the past several weeks, we have considered the health and well-being of our patrons and staff, and we appreciate the willingness of our visiting artists to reschedule as well as the understanding and support of our patrons. We continue to constantly reassess the landscape to ensure we are making the best decisions possible during this challenging time.

The amazing support of our patrons is heart-warming. We encourage all of you to make the best health choices for yourselves and your families. Every arts organization, and the people they employ, is faced with unprecedented choices and decisions right now. Living in uncharted territory, artists and arts organizations by our very nature collaborate, improvise, problem-solve and persevere.

We will continue to share updates and ask that you continue to support The Arts Council, along with our regional Arts Council Affiliate Arts Organizations, other non-profits and small businesses, in whatever way you can during these trying times.

Thank you again for your patronage. We appreciate you.

Sincerely,
